My stuff

Tomorrow is the big day! We will either take the 8:45 or 10:15 ferry to Bremerton and then ride to Shelton, Washington for our first day of riding. The photo above shows everything that I'll be carrying on my bike. Astute readers will notice the title of the book - Lone Survivor. This is not an indication that I expect to leave Deborah on the side of the road somewhere - rather, it is a story that sounded interesting and a book we'll each read enroute.

All of this gear is being packed in two Ortlieb Back Roller Plus panniers that will attach to the side of my bike. I'll also have a trunk pack to carry gear that I want access to during the day (camera, some day clothes, food, some bike repair supplies, lock, etc.).
